Frederic Normand is a Canadian poker player from Quebec who became much more visible after a major run of results in 2023. He had already been grinding tournaments for years, but the stretch from the 2023 WSOP into the 2023 WPT season turned him into a recognised name among North American tournament regulars.
His breakout year included a fifth place finish in a $3,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the WSOP for $177,732. Later that year, he won the WPT bestbet Scramble Main Event at bestbet Jacksonville for $351,650. That victory gave him a WPT title and put his name on the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup.
