Biography

Kristen Foxen is a Canadian professional poker player from St. Catharines, Ontario. She first became known under her maiden name, Kristen Bicknell, and developed much of her early game online. Her volume heavy approach earned her the nickname “The Ultimate Grinder”, while her online handle “krissyb24” remains one of the names most closely associated with her poker career.

Foxen’s first major live breakthrough came at the 2013 World Series of Poker, where she won the Ladies No Limit Hold’em Championship. Three years later, she proved the first bracelet was no one off by winning the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em Bounty event. Since then, she has added three more WSOP bracelets, including online bracelet victories, making her the first female player to reach five WSOP bracelets.

Her career has moved well beyond women’s records. Foxen is now a regular in the toughest No Limit Hold’em tournaments in the world, from the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas to Triton’s ultra high stakes stops in Asia and Europe. In 2026, she booked the biggest live score of her career with a fourth place finish in the Triton Jeju $100,000 Main Event for $1,449,000.

Foxen is also connected to the poker training business through Chip Leader Coaching, where she appears alongside Chance Kornuth and Alex Foxen as part of the coaching team. CLC lists her as one of the top performing champions behind its tournament training products. Her Instagram profile also identifies her as a WePoker Ambassador and CLC coach.
