Following the dramatic elimination of Kristen Foxen in 23rd place, Alex Anton captured the chip lead in WSOP Event 51. Nine players remain to return on June 19th, competing for the 678,300 dollar top prize and the coveted gold bracelet.
The 2026 World Series of Poker witnessed high-stakes drama in Event #51: $10,000 Mystery Bounty No-Limit Hold'em, where a massive cooler eliminated poker star Kristen Foxen in 23rd place.
Foxen's deep run came to a sudden halt during an action-packed Day 2 at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, which concluded with just nine players remaining from the 84 runners who started the day.
Foxen was eliminated in a preflop confrontation against Josh Reichard. Holding pocket tens in the big blind, Foxen got all-in against Reichard's pocket queens in the small blind.
The same hand proved catastrophic for Arsenii Karmatckii, who was also busted by Reichard after flopping trip sevens against Reichard's full house. Foxen ultimately exited the tournament in 23rd place, securing a payday of $25,980.
