Daniel Negreanu Falls Short of Ninth WSOP Bracelet at Online High Roller

Daniel Negreanu finished fourth in the WSOP Online $25,000 High Roller Championship on GGPoker, earning $415,699. His bid for a ninth WSOP bracelet ended in the final four, while Casimir Seire claimed the title and $906,647 first-place prize.

Daniel Negreanu's pursuit of a ninth World Series of Poker bracelet ended in fourth place in the WSOP Online $25,000 High Roller Championship on GGPoker.

Negreanu entered the final table third in chips with around 60 big blinds and remained in contention deep into the tournament. However, the final stages turned against him before Casimir Seire eliminated him in fourth place for $415,699.

Seire went on to win the bracelet and the $906,647 first-place prize, defeating Fabiano Kovalski heads-up.

Negreanu began the final table with one of the larger stacks and stayed firmly involved as the field was reduced.

Roman Emelyanov was eliminated in seventh place for $190,599, while Ole Schemion later exited in sixth place for $247,176.

The eliminations left Negreanu among the remaining contenders as the tournament moved closer to its final stages.

Negreanu continued his run with five players remaining and eventually eliminated Pedro Neves in fifth place.

Neves collected $320,548, leaving Negreanu among the final four players still competing for the bracelet.

The Canadian entered the closing stages seeking what would have been his ninth career WSOP bracelet and his first online WSOP title.

Negreanu's tournament ended against Seire, who had built a strong position as the final table progressed.

The elimination sent Negreanu out in fourth place for $415,699, ending his latest attempt to add another WSOP bracelet to his career total.

Erwann Pecheux was eliminated shortly afterwards in third place for $539,095, setting up the heads-up match between Seire and Kovalski.

Seire Beats Kovalski Heads-Up

The final heads-up contest featured Seire against Fabiano Kovalski. Seire completed the victory after making quads during the heads-up stage, securing the WSOP bracelet and $906,647.

Kovalski finished runner-up for $699,120, while Pecheux's third-place finish earned him $539,095. The result left Negreanu on eight career WSOP bracelets.

The GGPoker ambassador had won his eighth bracelet earlier in 2026 after previously ending an 11-year bracelet drought in 2024. A victory in the online High Roller would also have given Negreanu his first WSOP online bracelet.

Negreanu's latest WSOP Online final-table appearance ended in fourth place, while Seire converted his deep run into the bracelet and the largest payout of the tournament.
