APT Championship 2026 to Feature 210 Tournaments and Massive Guarantees

The Asian Poker Tour, sponsored by Natural8, has officially announced the full schedule for the upcoming APT Championship 2026. Running from November 13 to 29, the 17-day poker festival is organized in partnership with the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Club. 

The massive series will be hosted across two distinct venues in Taipei, Taiwan: the Asia Poker Arena and the Red Space.

The festival follows the inaugural 2025 APT Championship, which established itself as the largest and richest festival in Asian Poker Tour history by generating over 28,000 total tournament entries and awarding more than USD 34 million in prize money. 

As the tour celebrates its 20-year anniversary, the 2026 edition features an expanded lineup consisting of 210 trophy events and 26 satellite events. Headlining the schedule are 23 Championship Events that feature over TWD 256 million, or approximately USD 8.1 million, in total prize pool guarantees.

The remaining 187 side events cater to a wide variety of player preferences. No Limit Hold’em players can look forward to 119 events, which include 19 dedicated women's tournaments. 

For non-NLH players, the schedule includes an eclectic selection of 68 tournaments: 36 Omaha tournaments, 13 assorted draw poker tournaments, 12 dedicated mixed game tournaments, and 7 stud tournaments.

The definitive centerpiece of the entire festival is the USD 5 million guaranteed APT Championship Main Event Freezeout. Featuring a USD 10,000 buy-in, this tournament gives players a single shot at the title 

and runs from November 23 to 27.

Players will have multiple pathways to secure their spots in the primary event. Main Event seats will be awarded during the APT Jeju 2026, which takes place from September 25 to October 7 at the LES A Casino Resort. Specific details regarding the exact number of seats available at the Jeju stop will be released alongside its full festival schedule at a later date. 

Additionally, 15 APTC Main Event seats will be awarded across other Championship events during the APTC 2026 festival itself. An additional 2 seats are reserved for the respective winners of the two-day Event 76 High Roller Ultra Stack and the Event 86 High Roller - Single Day.
