Calvin Anderson captured his eighth WSOP bracelet after winning the $777 No-Limit Hold'em Lucky 7's event on WSOP Online for $$48,914.

Calvin Anderson joined an exclusive group of players on Monday after securing his eighth World Series of Poker bracelet while also spending part of the tournament playing slot machines at a Las Vegas casino.

The winningest Razz player in WSOP history captured the $777 No-Limit Hold'em Lucky 7's event in WSOP Online on GGPoker, playing under the screen name "SethRogan." Anderson topped a field of 363 entries to collect $$48,914 and became the 12th player in history to reach eight WSOP bracelets.

The victory also continued a strong run of bracelet results for Anderson. After winning two bracelets during the 2026 WSOP this past summer, he has now claimed three bracelets in the past three months.

Anderson's latest bracelet victory began away from the traditional poker-table setting. He went to Resorts World on Monday afternoon for a meal and to play slot machines.

While at the Las Vegas Strip resort, Anderson entered the WSOP Online $777 No-Limit Hold'em Lucky 7's bracelet event.

Anderson began building a stack in the online tournament while continuing to play slots. Once he finished his slot session, he self-drove home in a Tesla while remaining involved in the bracelet event.

By the time Anderson arrived home, the final table was about to begin. He then moved his tournament session to his laptop as the field played down toward the bracelet.

Nick Palma, who is having his best year ever in poker, added another deep tournament run but fell short of the title.

Palma finished seventh for $6,987 after facing Anderson in a hand that saw Anderson's ace-king hold against Palma's ace-jack. Palma was unable to improve and was eliminated from the tournament.

Anderson continued accumulating chips as the final table progressed and entered heads-up play with an overwhelming advantage.

Anderson Takes Nearly 50:1 Lead Into Heads-Up Play

By the start of heads-up action, Anderson controlled nearly every chip in play. His final opponent, "Joedontknowh," faced a deficit of almost 50:1. The substantial chip gap left Anderson in a commanding position to close out the tournament.

'Joedontknowh' had been the short stack throughout the final table but continued moving up the payout ladder as other players were eliminated. The run eventually resulted in a runner-up finish worth $36,209.

Anderson completed the victory to secure the $$48,914 first-place prize and his eighth WSOP bracelet.
Anderson Records Third Career Online Bracelet

The Lucky 7's victory marked Anderson's third bracelet in the past three months following the two titles he won during the 2026 WSOP.

It was also his third career online bracelet. Anderson, who has $8.2 million in live tournament cashes, now owns eight WSOP bracelets and is one of only 12 players in history to have reached that total.
