Canadian poker professional Mike Watson continues to demonstrate his longevity at the highest levels of the game.

On May 18, Watson claimed his sixth Triton title in just three years, emerging victorious in the $30,000 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo event for a top prize of $659,000.

With a career spanning two decades, Watson remains a significant force within the high roller circuit.
This latest win brings his total Triton tournament earnings to nearly $19.5 million.

Following this result, Watson is now tied with Punnat Punsri and Matthias Eibinger for the second-most all-time Triton titles.

Reflecting on the achievement during his post-event interview, Watson noted the significance of the accomplishment.

He stated that lifting a Triton trophy is always meaningful and expressed satisfaction in returning to a tie for the second-most trophies in the series.

The $30,000 NLH Turbo event featured a fast-paced environment that demanded precise decision-making. Watson entered the final table as the second-largest stack, though the turbo structure dictated that he held only 28 big blinds.

The intensity was reflected across the table, as six of the final nine participants held fewer than 14 big blinds, resulting in rapid and aggressive play throughout the final stages.
