WSOP Super Circuit Canada: Championship and PLO Reach Day 2

The WSOP Super Circuit Canada enters a pivotal Wednesday at Playground in Kahnawake, Quebec, with two ring events advancing to Day 2, a new Progressive Bounty joining the schedule and the CA$10 million guaranteed Main Event now just one day away.
Tuesday, September 1 completed the opening stages of both the CA$2,300 Canada Circuit Championship and the CA$1,500 Monster Stack PLO. The Championship returns Wednesday at 11 a.m. local time, while the PLO survivors resume at 3 p.m. A CA$1,000 Progressive Bounty starts between them at noon.
CanadianPoker.com's September 1 report already covered Frederic Moss winning the CA$1,000 Mystery Bounty for CA$90,000, so today's focus shifts entirely to the tournaments that progressed Tuesday and Wednesday's increasingly busy schedule.
Canada Circuit Championship Reaches Day 2
Event #4, the CA$2,300 Canada Circuit Championship, completed its second and final starting flight Tuesday.
The tournament began with Flight 1A on Monday before Flight 1B took over at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Players started with 40,000 chips and played 40-minute levels, with a CA$500,000 guarantee attached to the event.
Survivors from both flights now combine for Day 2 at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Championship is scheduled to determine the fourth ring winner of the inaugural Canadian Super Circuit.
There is one important limitation to this morning's report. Neither WSOP's publicly indexed results nor the other reliable public tournament databases checked before the 8 a.m. Quebec reporting cutoff exposed a complete verified list of Day 2 qualifiers, stacks or final entry count.
The Global Poker Index has created its Day 2 tournament listing, but its public page similarly shows no entry or chip-count data.
CanadianPoker.com will therefore not publish partial or unverified stacks as though they represent the official Day 2 leaderboard.
Monster Stack PLO Also Advances
Event #5, the CA$1,500 Monster Stack PLO, became the first Pot-Limit Omaha ring event of the series when cards went in the air Tuesday afternoon.
Players received 50,000 starting chips and competed through 40-minute levels. The tournament carries a CA$75,000 guarantee.
Day 1 has now been completed, with surviving players scheduled to return at 3 p.m. Wednesday for Day 2.
As with the Championship, a complete verified overnight chip count and official entry total were not available from reliable publicly accessible sources by the reporting cutoff. No player stacks have therefore been inferred or reproduced from incomplete listings.
That leaves two ring events reaching their decisive stages on the same day.

Progressive Bounty Begins Wednesday
Event #6 adds another ring to the mix when the CA$1,000 Progressive Bounty begins at noon.
Players receive 30,000 chips and play 25-minute levels. The tournament carries a CA$150,000 guarantee.
It is scheduled as a one-day event, meaning Wednesday could potentially produce multiple new WSOP Circuit champions depending on how long the Championship and Monster Stack PLO require to reach their conclusions.
The Progressive Bounty is also the final new ring event to begin before the festival's centrepiece arrives.
Three Canadian Champions Set the Early Pace
Sebastien Proulx opened the festival by winning the CA$500 Super Circuit Kickoff for CA$56,000. Daniel Haim then defeated the enormous 3,484-entry Mini Main field for CA$185,000, before Frederic Moss won the Mystery Bounty for CA$90,000.
The Canadian performances have extended well beyond the winners. The Mini Main produced an all-Canadian top 13, while Canadians occupied every position in the top 12 of the Mystery Bounty results published through WSOP LIVE.
Whether that streak survives Events #4, #5 and #6 will be one of Wednesday's major storylines.
