Srinivas Gottiparthi won the WSOP Circuit Calgary High Roller for C$92,653, while Dallas Larson claimed the Double Stack Closer for C$27,651. The final two events attracted 546 entries and generated C$502,180 in combined prize pools.

Srinivas Gottiparthi and Dallas Larson claimed the final two WSOP Circuit rings at the October 2026 stop at Deerfoot Inn & Casino in Calgary. Gottiparthi won the $3,500 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller for C$92,653, while Larson took down the $400 No-Limit Hold’em Double Stack Closer for C$27,651.

The two events attracted 546 entries combined and generated C$502,180 in prize pools. Both winners secured their first WSOP Circuit rings.

Gottiparthi topped a field of 115 entries in Event #17, the $3,500 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller, to collect C$92,653. The tournament ran from October 11 to 13 and featured a C$359,950 prize pool.

Gottiparthi defeated Dylan Payne heads-up to secure the title. Payne received C$61,180 for finishing second, while Matthew O’Brien placed third for C$41,734.

Joshua James entered Day 2 as the chip leader after 23 players bagged their chips at the end of Level 15. However, he was eliminated in 16th place.

As the tournament progressed, Matthew O’Brien held the lead before Gottiparthi and Payne emerged as joint chip leaders with eight players remaining.

Payne made a notable fold during the final-table action, laying down pocket kings face-up on the turn on an ace-high board against Gottiparthi. Later, Gottiparthi lost a substantial pot after calling a large river bet with the third nuts, only to find Payne holding the second nuts.

Gottiparthi recovered by doubling up against O’Brien before eliminating him in third place. He began heads-up play with a small chip advantage over Payne.

During the final duel, Gottiparthi made a significant move over Payne’s value bet on a double-paired board, prompting Payne to fold a full house. Gottiparthi extended his lead to nearly two to one before the final hand.

Payne moved all-in with king-queen against Gottiparthi’s ace-queen. Payne flopped a gutshot straight draw but failed to improve by the river, giving Gottiparthi the victory with his ace-high hand.

The C$92,653 payout slightly exceeded Gottiparthi’s previous best result, a runner-up finish in the Montreal Super Circuit Ultra Stack in September 2026. Both Gottiparthi and Payne had been seeking their first live tournament victory and first Circuit ring.
Dallas Larson won Event #18, the $400 No-Limit Hold’em Double Stack Closer, after defeating Ramaz Haymour heads-up. The tournament attracted 431 entries and generated a C$142,230 prize pool. Larson collected C$27,651, while Haymour earned C$18,409.

The event ran from October 12 to 13 and played through the field in approximately 12 hours. The final-table bubble slowed proceedings, with 11-handed play lasting almost an hour before the final table was established.

Larson held the chip lead for much of the final table and controlled roughly half the chips in play when six players remained.

Maddie Sharma finished fourth for C$9,105 after reaching her second final table of the day, having earlier placed 10th in the High Roller. Marco Ferrone finished third for C$12,823, recording his fifth final-table appearance of the series.

Larson and Haymour entered heads-up play with their stacks close to even, but the duel lasted less than 20 minutes.

The decisive hand began when Haymour shoved over Larson’s raise to 800,000, twice the 400,000 big blind.

Larson called with ace-king, while Haymour held ace-ten. Neither player improved on the board, and Larson’s king kicker secured the pot and the title.

The win gave Larson his first WSOP Circuit ring and his second live tournament victory. His first tournament victory had earned him a Regina ring in 2016.

Haymour, who began playing tournament poker in 2025 after previously focusing on cash games, was also seeking his first Circuit ring. He had recorded four tournament wins before the WSOP Circuit Calgary event.
