  • Ocean KO blends Progressive Knockout poker with jackpot multipliers up to 400x, offering instant bounty action.
  • Prize pools in the first Ocean KO tournaments exceeded their guarantees at all buy-in levels.
  • Players can win up to $1.5 million in Legendary tiers.
GGPoker just juiced up the PKO game. Test out Ocean KO while it's running hot during the Bounty Hunters Series.
GGPoker goes into overdrive with its new Ocean KO format, combining Progressive Knockouts with Spin & Gold-style RNG jackpot mechanics.

It's like a Mystery Bounty on steroids where, straight from the get-go, you can earn massive knockout bounties with 0.4x to 400x jackpot multipliers.

You think that's crazy?

GGPoker added some old Soviet hormones to the mix, the kind that can grow balls on everything.

So, on top of the regular multipliers, there are the bigger Legendary tiers that can swing you into a potential $1.5 million knockout prize.

You wanna join the action? Check the details below and get juiced up with the ongoing Bounty Hunters Series and massive Ocean KO tournaments.

What Is GGPoker Ocean KO?

Ocean KO is GGPoker's version of the Jackpot PKO, combining Progressive Knockout poker with the random multiplier mechanics familiar from games such as Spin & Gold.

The basic idea is simple:
  • You start with a bounty.
  • Knock out another player and trigger a random bounty spin.
  • The multiplier determines the value of the knockout.
  • 50% is paid as cash.
  • 50% is added to your own bounty.

Unlike Mystery Bounty tournaments, the bounty action starts from the beginning of the tournament. You don't have to wait until ITM before there is serious scalp money on the table.

HeadingOcean KO Multipliers Go Up to 400x

The spiciest part of Ocean KO is the multipliers.

The standard Ocean KO tiers use multipliers ranging from 0.4x to 400x, with an average multiplier of exactly 1x. However, 72.3% of spins land below 1x, while the monster 400x multiplier appears roughly once every 50,000 bounties at the lowest tier.

For example, a $2.50 Egg bounty hit with a 400x multiplier creates a $1,000 bounty prize, split into $500 cash and $500 added to the winner's bounty.

And that's only the beginning.

Ocean KO Tiers and Legendary Bounties

Players move through 14 bounty tiers as their progressive bounty increases. The first 10 tiers scale with the tournament buy-in:
LevelTierBounty Threshold
1Egg0.5x buy-in
2Fry0.6x
3Fish0.75x
4Shrimp1x
5Crab1.5x
6Turtle2.5x
7Octopus5x
8Dolphin10x
9Whale20x
10Shark50x

After the regular tiers comes the Legendary Beast tiers

LevelTierBounty ThresholdMultiplier Range
11Legendary Octopus$10,0000.5x to 10x
12Legendary Dolphin$50,0000.6x to 3x
13Legendary Whale$250,0000.7x to 2x
14Legendary Shark$1,000,0000.8x to 1.5x
The higher the bounty gets, the narrower the multiplier range becomes. That makes sense when a single knockout can already be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Ocean KO Is Already Drawing Big Numbers

The first three Ocean KO tournaments of the Bounty Hunters Series all beat their guarantees:

$100$400,0005,926$545,192

And it isn't just the bigger buy-ins getting attention.

The $5 Ocean KO Opener had already pulled 6,287 total entries on October 6 as it chased its $1 million guarantee.

Can Canadian Players Play Ocean KO?

Canadian players should check their specific GGPoker client for Ocean KO availability.

The format launched through GGPoker's international platform, while ring-fenced markets can have different tournament offerings.

This is particularly relevant for players in Ontario, who play in a regulated and ring-fenced online poker market.

For Canadians with access to the international GGPoker player pool, availability can still depend on location and the relevant local rules.

Where Did Ocean KO Come From?

GGPoker wasn't the first operator to discover Jackpot PKOs.

Winamax launched Space KO in December 2024, with the format quickly proving popular among its players. Betclic followed with Smash KO in March 2026.

GGPoker has now taken the idea international and cranked up the multipliers exponentially.

Space KO tops out at 100x, Smash KO at 50x, while Ocean KO goes all the way to 400x.

Is Ocean KO the Next Big PKO Format?

The big question is whether players will embrace the extra chaos.

Ocean KO has plenty going for it. The bounty is visible, the hunt starts from the opening hand, and every knockout carries the possibility of a ridiculous payday.

Of course, the price for all that excitement is variance. The 400x jackpot is sexy, but most spins land below 1x, so players are going to need a fairly strong stomach for the swings.

The early tournament numbers suggest the format has already found an audience. If that momentum continues, Ocean KO could become a serious new weapon in the PKO arsenal.

For Canadian players who like their bounty hunting with a healthy dose of chaos, this is one format worth keeping an eye on.
