Daniel Dvoress made Triton Poker history in Montenegro by becoming the first player to win three titles at a single festival. Winning the Golden Decade opener, the $100k PLO Main Event, and the $25K PLO Turbo Bounty Quattro pushed his career earnings past $50 million.
Throughout his recent trip to the sunshine coast of Montenegro, three proved to be the definitive magic number for Canadian poker superstar Daniel Dvoress.
After completing a remarkable Triton Poker trifecta earlier in the series by capturing titles in No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and Short Deck, Dvoress went one better by adding another "three" to his collection.
By the conclusion of the series, he secured three individual titles during the exact same Triton Poker Super High Roller festival.
Dvoress initiated his historic run by winning the Golden Decade opener. Midway through the festival, he kept his momentum rolling by taking down the $100k PLO Main Event.
Fittingly, he closed out his series performance by winning the final event on the schedule: the $25K PLO Turbo Bounty Quattro, which added $367,500 to his tournament scores.
This final victory stands as an historic milestone. With this win, Dvoress became the first player in the ten-year history of Triton Poker to capture three separate titles during a single festival.
"After the Main, obviously, that was incredible, I got a bit of an adrenaline dump," Dvoress said regarding the physical demands of the series.
"That's when the grind of the past couple of weeks catches up with you. But then I was going, 'OK, two tournaments left, give it my all, find the energy somewhere.' And I guess I powered through."
