  • CoinMillion is now a weekly Sunday event on CoinPoker with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool for a $215 buy-in.
  • Players can enter directly or through affordable satellites starting at $5.50, including freeroll options.
  • The tournament attracts large fields and offers physical and digital trophies to each champion.
CoinPoker has turned the CoinMillion into a weekly Sunday fixture, putting a $1 million guaranteed prize pool on the schedule every week for a $215 buy-in.

For Canadian players, the start time lands comfortably inside the Sunday grind. CoinMillion begins at 16:30 UTC, which is 12:30 PM Eastern, 10:30 AM Mountain and 9:30 AM Pacific on October 18.

The move gives CoinPoker a seven-figure tournament every Sunday after the format proved it could repeatedly draw fields of several thousand players during 2026.

Players can buy in directly or qualify through satellites starting at $5.50, with freeroll routes also available through CoinPoker's Steps system.

$1 Million Guaranteed Every Sunday

CoinMillion uses a two-day structure. Day 1 begins on Sunday and surviving players return on Monday to play down to a champion.

The tournament starts players with 100,000 chips, equal to 200 big blinds, and uses 10-minute blind levels. Late registration remains open until Level 19 before the field eventually plays down to a seven-handed final table.

For players comparing tournament schedules across different operators, the weekly change gives CoinPoker a much more prominent place on the Sunday calendar.

CoinMillion Satellites Start at $5.50

The direct $215 entry is not the only route into the tournament.

CoinPoker runs direct-entry satellites from $5.50, with winners receiving CoinMillion tickets rather than cash. Players can also work through lower-cost Steps, including freeroll opportunities, before moving into the direct satellite path.

That structure gives smaller-bankroll players a way to chase the same $1 million guarantee without committing the full buy-in.

Canadian players considering the room can find more information about software, deposits, withdrawals, tournaments and provincial availability in our CoinPoker review.

New players should also check the current CoinPoker promo code offer before registering, as bonus terms and eligibility can change.

CoinMillion Has Already Produced Large Fields

The weekly move follows several strong CoinMillion editions earlier in 2026.

The first edition ran during World Poker Masters in May, where DaniC1994 defeated 4,278 entries and won $126,500. July's Battle of Malta Online edition attracted 4,784 entries, with monc taking $121,500.

CoinPoker then ran four consecutive CoinMillions during the Global Online Poker Championship in September. Each carried the same $1 million guarantee, and the September 27 edition set the current attendance high with 5,404 entries.

The four September editions alone drew 21,892 entries and generated more than $4.18 million in prize money.

Every Winner Gets a Trophy

CoinMillion is not treated as a standard weekly MTT inside the CoinPoker ecosystem.

Each champion receives a physical trophy and a permanent digital version in the CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet. Winners are also added to the CoinMillion Hall of Champions.

That gives the event a more recognisable identity than a normal weekly major and provides CoinPoker with a recurring flagship alongside its larger festival series.

Next CoinMillion Runs Sunday, October 18

The next weekly CoinMillion is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, with play beginning at 16:30 UTC.

Players can register directly for $215 or look for satellite routes in the tournament lobby. CoinPoker's current Sunday schedule lists the event as weekly, meaning another $1 million guarantee is scheduled to follow the next Sunday.

For Canadian players who prefer crypto-focused poker sites, CoinPoker is also included in our guide to the best crypto poker sites in Canada.

Availability remains subject to CoinPoker's current terms and local provincial requirements, so players should confirm eligibility before registering or depositing.
