They say you should treat yourself on your birthday, and Maurice Hawkins decided the best gift was a piece of gold jewelry and a five-figure payday. The all-time WSOP Circuit ring leader padded his record on Monday night, taking down his 23rd career ring in the $400 Double Stack Closer at Horseshoe Tunica.
It was a fitting end to a week where Hawkins proved his "printing money" catchphrase is more than just social media bravado, it’s a business model.

The $10,473 victory in the Double Stack event was also enough to lock up the series-long leaderboard, crowning him the Tunica Casino Champion.
With 23 rings now in the bank, Hawkins has established a three-ring cushion over Ari Engel. As the circuit schedule barrels toward Baltimore and Indiana, Hawkins has positioned himself as the man to beat for the remainder of the 2026 season.
