Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto remains open 24 hours a day, and the casino, hotel and restaurants are running as usual.
The property flagged that its ongoing labour disruption may affect some entrances and cause traffic delays around the building, so players heading to a Saturday or Sunday tournament should budget extra travel time.
The Poker Room itself continues to operate at Great Canadian Toronto, unlike sister property Pickering Casino Resort, where the poker room has been temporarily closed during the same labour dispute.
Great Canadian Toronto has built a reputation as Ontario's main destination for tournament poker in recent years, having hosted the
WSOP Circuit in partnership with
GGPoker since 2024.
That track record gives these weekend turbo and deepstack events a bigger stage than a typical local series, offering regulars and visiting players another reason to grind at the Toronto tables between now and mid-October.
Refund requests are only honoured if made at least 24 hours before a tournament's start time, and the casino's tournament director has final say on any ruling during play.
Players must be 19 or older to take part, and Great Canadian Entertainment notes that schedules and terms are subject to change at its discretion.
