End bosses keep printing. Benny hits 17, Pads claims 32 majors, and Vanessa Kade's Super Sunday.
WCOOP 2026 is proving again that online poker is an absolutely skill-based mind sport and that the top players do not need solvers or RTA to beat the fields.
UK player Benny “RunGodlike” Glaser extended his all-time WCOOP victory record to 17, while Patrick Leonard jumped to second place with his 15th WCOOP title last Saturday. Other WCOOP legends were printing top results as well, with João Vieira and Niklas Åstedt both becoming champions for the 14th time.
The field is indeed tough, but that did not stop Canadian poker pro Vanessa Kade from winning her first WCOOP title, or ameliaroy007 from becoming the first hat-trick hero after taking down three tournaments in the series.
Vanessa Kade’s Super Sunday: Three Final Tables, One WCOOP Title
Sunday was Women’s Event day, and Vanessa Kade decided to fire all three:
- 3rd in the $5.50 Low (249 runners)
- 4th in the $22 Medium (209 runners)
- 1st in the $215 Championship (75 runners) for $4,049
Winning the $215 gave Kade her first career WCOOP title, but hitting the final table in all three on the exact same Sunday grind is a serious flex.
Canadian Gets the First Hat Trick of the Series
While the high-roller names have been busy swapping single titles, a Canadian account playing under "ameliaroy007" quietly locked up three wins before anyone else in the field:
- $109 NLHE Hyper ($15,665)
- $109 Sunday Kickoff ($27,133)
- $22 PLO ($3,569)
Taking down two turbo hold'em tournaments and then random-firing a $22 Omaha event to get the third title is peak online poker. The first hat trick of the 2026 series belongs to the Great White North.
Meanwhile, Benny, Pads, Vieira, Åstedt Further Their All-Time WCOOP Title Score
It is crazy to see almost all top WCOOP final bosses being unbeatable this year.
Benny Glaser took down Event 44-H ($1,050 8-Game) for $21,400. That’s his 17th WCOOP title, which keeps him at number one on the all-time list.
Patrick Leonard won the $530 Turbo on Saturday for $15,428, after winning the $530 Deep Stack earlier in the week. That puts him at 15 WCOOPs. But when you add up all PokerStars majors including SCOOP, Leonard is sitting on 32 titles total, which is more than anyone else in online poker history, only Glaser being the closest with 29 COOP wins.
The rest of the usual suspects picked up their share as well:
- Niklas "Lena900" Åstedt won two events in two days, including the $5,200 Thursday Thrill for $103,282. That puts him at 14 WCOOPs.
- João "Naza114" Vieira won the $1,050 PLO8 Championship for $27,202, also hitting 14 titles.
- Johannes Straver won the $5,200 Super Tuesday for the second week in a row, banking around $196,000 between both wins.
