Daniel Negreanu will debut on Hustler Casino Live on August 28 in a $100/$200 cash game with a $50,000 minimum buy-in. The eight-time WSOP bracelet winner returns to televised cash games after focusing primarily on tournaments, with the full lineup still pending announcement.
Daniel Negreanu is set to make his long-anticipated debut on Hustler Casino Live on Friday, August 28, joining the livestream for a $100/$200 cash game.
Hustler Casino Live announced the eight-time WSOP bracelet winner as part of the lineup for next Friday's game in a post on X.
The announcement marks Negreanu's return to televised cash-game action after spending recent years primarily focused on tournament poker.
Hustler Casino Live has confirmed that the upcoming game will run at $100/$200 stakes with a $50,000 minimum buy-in.
The full lineup has not yet been announced. HCL said the remaining players will be revealed in due course.
The announcement on X introduced Negreanu as a poker legend and
GGPoker ambassador. It was accompanied by an AI-generated video featuring HCL regulars celebrating the Canadian's arrival with a soul-funk melody centered on his "Big D Energy coming to HCL."
Negreanu also shared the video on his own X account, describing it as "sooooo ridiculous" that he had to share it.
Negreanu was previously one of the most recognizable and popular regulars on High Stakes Poker, but it has been a long time since he regularly appeared in cash games.
In recent years, Negreanu has primarily competed in tournaments. His schedule rarely takes him far from Las Vegas, where he plays on the WSOP and PGT circuits.
The main exception is WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas, which attracts poker players for the annual Christmas-time series.
His upcoming appearance on Hustler Casino Live therefore represents a return to televised cash-game poker.
