Australia’s number one tournament earner Michael Addamo dominated the $10,000 GGMillion$ High Roller for $423,610 payday.
The final table offered intense moments, but in the end there was no question who had the hottest run. Addamo rose from a clear disadvantage all the way to the top, busting seven players along the way.
Canadian pro Guillaume Nolet finished fourth after losing pocket pair showdown against Pedro Neves.
How Addamo Crushed Final Table
When the nine-handed stream began with guest host Lucas Jumalon in the booth, Pedro Neves and GGMilllion$ regular Guillaume Nolet sat well ahead of the future champion. Addamo had much smaller stack, being roughly 6:1 in chips behind the leader.
However, an experienced online crusher put his balls to the walls and pressured the table with aggressive plays. Here is a short breakdown of how the final table unfolded:
- Addamo Goes Into Pressure Mode: Addamo turned up the heat with constant three-bets, applying maximum pressure to swing the momentum entirely his way.
- Nolet Exits in Fourth ($194K): Canadian high roller Guillaume Nolet got his chips in pre-flop holding 4-4, but ran directly into the 10-10 of Pedro Neves. The pocket tens held up, ending the Canadian’s run in 4th place for a $194,226 payday.
- Seven Knockouts for the Champ: Addamo was responsible for every other elimination at the table, single-handedly busting seven of the eight finalists and entering heads-up play with an overpowering 7:1 chip advantage.
- River Spike Seals the Deal: Heads-up play lasted only six hands . Neves got his remaining chips in good with A♣Q♠ against Addamo's 8♣7♣, but 8♦on the river sealed the pot and locked up Addamo’s ninth GGMillion$ title.
