WPT Adds $1 Million Mystery Bounty Twist to 2026 World Championship
- 2026 WPT World Championship Main Event features $1M in Mystery Bounties.

The WPT World Championship is getting a new twist in 2026.
When the $10,400 Main Event returns to Wynn Las Vegas from December 13-20, players will be competing for the regular prize pool alongside $1 million in added Mystery Bounty cash and prizes supplied by ClubWPT Gold.
The Main Event is the centrepiece of a 25-day festival running from November 27 through December 21, with 61 tournaments, 25 satellites and more than $20 million in advertised guarantees.
Three Flights for the $10,400 Main Event
The World Championship opens with three starting flights on December 13, 14 and 15.
Players can enter once in each flight, with a final registration opportunity available before Day 2 starts on December 16.
From there, the field plays down across the week before the final six return on December 20.

WPT Prime and Super Gold Million Bring the Biggest Guarantees
The Main Event is far from the only major tournament on the schedule.
The $1,100 WPT Prime Championship runs December 5-12 with $5 million guaranteed, while the new $400 Super Gold Million comes with a $3 million guarantee.
The latter uses a Mystery Bounty format and includes four starting flights before reaching its final table on December 14.
A $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em event beginning December 17 adds another $2 million guarantee.

High Rollers Arrive in the Second Half
The larger buy-ins begin appearing once the World Championship gets underway.
A $25,800 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller starts on December 17, while four separate $10,500 tournaments run between December 16 and 20.
Those include both NLH and PLO, giving high-stakes players several options around the Main Event.
The festival also stretches well beyond Hold’em. HORSE, TORSE, Big O, Limit Omaha 8, Mixed Triple Draw and several PLO formats are all included before the schedule wraps on December 21.
