Golden Bounty Championship Grows Into A Weekly $250K GTD Draw
- WPT Global raised Golden Bounty Championship guarantee to $250K.
- First week drew 11,307 entries, $257,200 prize pool.
- Winner earned $19,423 (including bounties); runner-up $14,787.
Some weekly events find their rhythm the moment the guarantee changes. After WPT Global lifted the Golden Bounty Championship to $250,000 guaranteed, the first running topped the mark with 11,307 entries and a $257,200 prize pool.
How The Golden Bounty Championship Works
It's a pretty simply concept really. The Golden Bounty Championship is a progressive-knockout phase event. Players enter $25 Day 1 flights offered throughout the week; survivors reconvene for a single Day 2 on Sunday, with bounties paid during the open-flight stage and the larger prizes settled in the final.
Week-One Numbers And Payout Shape
Week one at the new guarantee didn’t just hold; it exceeded the target. Reporting shows 11,307 entries for $257,200, with the champion earning $19,423 including bounties and the runner-up $14,787, a distribution typical for a PKO finish.
So, what are you waiting for? It's time to start playing!
