GTO Wizard released major updates to its Pot-Limit Omaha solver just months after launch. Highlights include customizable heads-up solving, nodelocking, postflop ICM, trainer improvements, faster engine calculations, and expanded preflop libraries.

Only a couple of months after the initial release of its Pot-Limit Omaha solver, GTO Wizard has rolled out a major series of platform updates.

The development team has introduced several new features designed to expand strategic capabilities for cash game and tournament players.

Heads-up Solving and Nodelocking Mechanics

The centerpiece of the latest update is the launch of fully customizable heads-up PLO solving, covering play from preflop through the river.

With this functionality, users can now implement nodelocking to model opponent mistakes, adjust line frequencies, and construct custom player profiles to train against specific strategic tendencies. For tournament players, GTO Wizard has introduced postflop ICM calculations.

The solver accommodates real tournament scenarios by allowing users to configure prize payouts, stack dynamics, and bounty structures across regular and bounty tournament formats.

Interface, Engine, and Solution Upgrades

In addition to heads-up and ICM features, GTO Wizard implemented upgrades across several core platform areas:
  • Engine Performance: Solving calculations now operate at faster speeds with improved solution accuracy.
  • Study Mode: Integration of an improved filtering system, new subcategories, a dedicated breakdown tab, and a redesigned preflop matrix.
  • GTO Trainer: Addition of multi-tabling options, specialized drill settings, a new information panel, and performance-tracking statistics.
  • Expanded Libraries: Broader preflop libraries covering additional cash game and MTT scenarios.

Future Development Pipeline

GTO Wizard continues active development on upcoming features for its user base. The development team is currently working to deliver 5-Card PLO solving, mobile device support, aggregated strategic reports, and further expansions to the preflop library.
