Canadian poker is preparing for what organizers are billing as the most significant poker series ever held in the country, with the inaugural WSOP Super Circuit Canada beginning at Playground on August 26, 2026.
The festival runs through September 12 at Playground in Kahnawake, Quebec, just outside Montreal. The official schedule features 18 WSOP Circuit ring events and more than CA$14 million in guaranteed prize pools, headlined by a CA$5,000 Main Event carrying a CA$10 million guarantee.
The Main Event alone represents one of the largest guaranteed poker tournaments ever staged in Canada. Starting flights run from September 3 through September 6, with the tournament scheduled to continue until September 10.
CA$10 Million Main Event Leads the Schedule
The series opens on August 26 with the No Limit Hold'em CA$500 Super Circuit Kickoff, which guarantees CA$150,000.
That is followed by several substantial events before the Main Event begins. The CA$500 Mini Main Event carries a CA$500,000 guarantee, while the CA$1,000 Mystery Bounty guarantees CA$400,000.
Another major attraction is the CA$2,300 Super Circuit Championship, scheduled from August 31, with CA$500,000 guaranteed.
High-stakes players will also have plenty to choose from. The CA$14,000 GGMillion$ High Roller has a CA$1 million guarantee, while a CA$25,000 Super High Roller is scheduled for September 8. A CA$6,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller is also included on September 10
18 WSOP Circuit Rings Available
Each of the 18 designated events awards an official WSOP Circuit ring. WSOP has also confirmed that Circuit ring winners receive a package to compete in the WSOP Circuit Championship at WSOP Paradise 2026 in the Bahamas.
The festival continues Playground's rapidly growing relationship with the World Series of Poker. Playground was selected to host three WSOP Circuit series during 2026, including the Super Circuit stop.
The venue also produced a major Canadian poker milestone in 2025. Its WSOP Circuit Main Event attracted 1,978 entries and generated a CA$4,450,500 prize pool, which WSOP described as a Circuit record at the time. Canadian Jacob Hobday won that tournament for CA$620,000 after qualifying through a CA$75 online satellite.
Online and Live Satellites Available
Playground has confirmed that satellite tournaments will run for the festival's biggest events, including the Main Event, GGMillion$ High Roller, Super High Roller and Closer Turbo Bounty.
Online qualification is also available through GGPoker for eligible players.
With a CA$10 million Main Event guarantee and more than CA$14 million guaranteed across the full schedule, WSOP Super Circuit Canada will immediately become one of the most important live poker festivals on the Canadian calendar when cards get in the air on August 26.
