Only 132 players from a 3,332-entry field advanced, including Poker Hall of Fame members Brian Rast and GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu.

The opening day of Event #28: $600 Deepstack Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha produced a star-studded leaderboard that defies the tournament's modest price point.

While the low buy-in typically attracts a field of aspiring players, the Day 1 top 10 chip counts feature two legendary Poker Hall of Fame members and four players selected in the prestigious $25K Fantasy Draft.

Together, this elite group of top ten finishers holds an incredible 21 World Series of Poker bracelets. Late registration officially closed with a massive field of 3,332 entrants.

Over the course of 22 action-packed levels of play, that field was whittled down significantly, leaving just 132 competitors to secure a seat for Day 2.

Leading the remaining field is Darryll Fish, who built a commanding stack of 4,020,000 in chips. According to the WSOP LIVE app, Fish bagged the largest stack by a wide margin, pacing an exceptionally tough lineup of elite poker talent moving forward in the tournament.

Chasing the chip leader is seven-time bracelet winner and Poker Hall of Fame inductee Brian Rast, who concluded his day with 2,535,000 in chips. Fellow Poker Hall of Fame member and GGPoker Daniel Negreanu also enjoyed a highly successful opening day, bagging up 2,320,000 to sit in fourth place overall.
Several other high-profile players flexed their muscles on Day 1 to secure a spot in the top 10 chip counts.

Alex Foxen navigated the opening round to bag ,185,000, while Robert Nehorayan advanced with 1,985,000. Will Berry finished his flight with 1,870,000, and Jason Daly kept pace by wrapping up the night with 1,715,000.

A deep roster of established poker luminaries also successfully navigated the day and will return for Day 2 action. This group includes Dean Hutchison with 1,400,000, Josh Reichard with 1,340,000, and Calvin Anderson with 1,185,000.

Ilan Boujenah also bagged a seven-figure stack of 1,165,000. They are joined in the next round by Matt Vengrin (890,000), Jon Kyte (630,000), Max Neugebauer (580,000), and Alex Livingston (535,000), setting up a highly competitive second day of mixed game poker.
