Anniversary Series Anniversary Series
PokerStars is celebrating 25 years with the $50 million Anniversary Series from May 10 to June 3, 2026. Featuring 461 tournaments and tiered buy-ins from $5.50 to $15,000, the series includes a revamped Power Path and trophies for tournament and leaderboard winners.

PokerStars is set to commemorate its 25th anniversary with a massive online tournament series this May. The PokerStars Anniversary Series features tens of millions of dollars in guaranteed prize pools, physical trophies for champions, and a diverse range of formats designed to appeal to the global poker community.

Series Overview and Schedule

The upcoming festival is scheduled to run from May 10 through June 3, 2026. Over the course of these 25 days, the platform will host 156 distinct events, resulting in a total of 461 individual tournaments. The series carries a staggering $50 million in total guarantees.

To ensure accessibility for all players, the series utilizes a tiered buy-in structure similar to the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) and World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP).

Entry fees start at $5.50 and reach as high as $15,000 for elite high-roller events. Most scheduled events consist of three tiers of buy-ins, allowing participants with different bankrolls to compete in the same formats.

The schedule is populated with various game types and tournament formats, including mixed games. Notable Sunday sessions punctuate the series:
  • May 10: The action begins with a $22 Mystery Sunday Special boasting a $300,000 guarantee, alongside a $1,050 Sunday High Roller and a $109 Sunday Million featuring a $1 million guarantee.
  • May 17: Sunday Million action continues with a $215 PKO edition and a $55 Mini Sunday Million variant.
  • May 31: Players can find redemption in "2nd Chance" Main Events at $55, $215, and $1,050 buy-in levels.

Championship Main Events

The pinnacle of the series takes place on May 24. Three tiers of Main Events will run simultaneously to crown the primary champions:
  • Low Tier: $109 buy-in with a $1.5 million guarantee.
  • Medium Tier: $1,050 buy-in with a $2.5 million guarantee.
  • High Tier: $5,200 buy-in with a $2 million guarantee.

Leaderboards and Trophies

In addition to the cash prizes, PokerStars will award real trophies to tournament winners and top performers on the series leaderboard.

However, the platform has noted a geographical restriction for these physical awards. Players residing in Belarus, Ukraine, Sweden, or Austria are not eligible to receive trophies.

Power Path Revamp

Coinciding with the celebration, PokerStars is updating its Power Path promotion to increase player participation. A new $530 Bronze Pass replaces the previous $109 version.

This updated pass offers 25 percent added value and is redeemable as an online ticket bundle for Anniversary Series events. Any existing $109 Bronze Passes currently held by players will be renamed to "Spade Power Pass" within the game client.
