The final weekend of June at WSOP 2026 hit both ends of the spectrum. On one side, Benny Glaser picked up his ninth bracelet in the series’ most elite event, the $50,000 Poker Players Championship. On the other…end, a butt-plug used as a card protector in the Super Seniors was a step too far for WSOP staff. Check all the latest WSOP winners below.

Glaser Locks Up The Poker Players Championship

Benny Glaser’s win in Event #60, the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, is a career-defining result. He battled through one of the toughest mixed-game fields of the summer, defeated Josh Arieh heads-up, and took home $1,343,764 plus the Chip Reese Trophy for his ninth WSOP bracelet.

Nine bracelets in just over a decade at the series puts him alongside Johnny Moss on the all‑time list and cements his status as one of the premier mixed-game specialists of the modern era.

With the Main Event and several high‑roller and mixed‑game championships still on the schedule, it would not be a shock if that number moves again before WSOP 2026 closes.

Eelis Pärssinen Wins $25K Mixed High Roller and Becomes Finland’s Most Decorated WSOP Champion

Finnish poker legends went toe‑to‑toe for mixed‑game supremacy, and this time all the glory landed on Eelis Pärssinen. He took down Event #64, the $25,000 High Roller Mixed No‑Limit Hold’em / Pot‑Limit Omaha, for $1,172,296 after a heads‑up duel with fellow Finnish poker legend Juha Helppi. The win gives Pärssinen his third career bracelet and second of the 2026 series, making him Finland’s most decorated WSOP champion and reinforcing his reputation as one of the game’s elite PLO and mixed‑game specialists.

Super Seniors And The Sex Toy Card Protector

Further down the buy-in ladder, the $1,000 Super Seniors event delivered the weekend’s strangest story. Andrew Martin used a silver sex toy as a card protector, prompting WSOP floor staff to step in and ask for its removal under general conduct and decorum rules.

The player switched to a more conventional cap and continued in the tournament, but the warning quickly became social-media fodder and a talking point about how far “fun” table props can go before operators say no. It was a reminder that even in a fun, seniors-only field, the WSOP still has a brand image to protect.

What’s Still On The WSOP 2026 Schedule

The weekend did not mark the end of the story. There are still several headline events coming up that can reshape the narrative of the summer:
  • The $10,000 WSOP Main Event No-Limit Hold’em World Championship (Event #82), with four starting flights from July 2–5 and the usual mix of pros, qualifiers, and dreamers.
  • The $10,000 8-Game Mixed Championship (Event #80) for the true all‑rounders.
  • The $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller (Event #90) for the nosebleed crowd.
  • The $25,000 H.O.R.S.E. High Roller (Event #97), another major mixed test.
  • Fan‑friendly events such as the $1,000 PLO Mystery Bounty (Event #87), the $1,500 “The Closer” NLHE (Event #93), and the $5,000 8‑Handed NLHE championship (Event #99).
Glaser’s ninth bracelet and Pärssinen’s latest high‑roller win have already put pressure on the top of the all‑time and country leaderboards. If either of them, or any other multi‑bracelet regular, hits one of these remaining majors, the Hall of Fame conversations and “best mixed‑game player alive” debates will only get louder by the time the final Super Turbo wraps.
