The Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro continues to deliver massive prize pools and historic moments on the high-stakes circuit. Most recently, Triton ambassador Danny Tang secured the most significant title of his professional poker career by winning the $100,000 Main Event.

Tang outlasted a competitive 159-entry field on Saturday night to claim the first-place prize of $3,522,000. Seven years after coming close to a similar breakthrough victory, this championship triumph pushed his total live tournament earnings past the $42 million milestone. The result also extends his lead at the top of the all-time money list for Hong Kong.

In another marquee tournament at the festival, Aleks Ponakovs emerged victorious in the $150,000 10th Anniversary Special. The tournament generated an $11,400,000 total prize pool after drawing 76 entries, culminating in a final table filled with high-stakes players.

Jonathan Jaffe appeared positioned to secure the title during the latter stages of the event. However, a critical hero call shifted the momentum of the tournament during a dramatic heads-up confrontation. Ponakovs capitalized on the shift, closing out the win to earn a $3,027,000 payout. Jaffe finished as the runner-up, taking home $2,103,000 for his performance.

The series tournament action also includes the $30,000 NLH/PLO event, where Tobias Schwecht leads the final seven remaining players.

Attention now turns toward four-card poker as the $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Main Event prepares to kick off at 5 p.m. local time. Regarded as the biggest and most prestigious PLO tournament on the annual poker calendar, the event expects a field of elite high-stakes talent.

Day 1 of the tournament will consist of ten levels of play, with unlimited re-entries permitted until the start of Day 2, allowing the total field size and final prize pool to grow further.
