WSOPC Montreal at Playground
The World Series of Poker Circuit returns to Canada today, as Playground in Kahnawake launches a two-week festival running 3–18 November with 18 ring events and multi-flight structures designed to push late-weekend traffic into mid-November. The venue’s calendar and tour listings confirm the opening-day slate and full programme.
Playground’s series page frames the stop as a Q4 sequel to August’s record-setting edition, with satellites channelling demand into mid-buy-in no-limit hold’em and bounty formats before higher-price events later in the schedule.

The official WSOP hub mirrors dates and event taxonomy, anchoring expectations for ring counts, buy-ins and consolidation days.

What’s on deck this week

  • Entry ladder: Early-week $300–$800 events and bounties, plus nightly megas, to smooth cage and dealer load ahead of the weekend surge.
  • Progressive bounty focus: Multiple PB formats early, a proven traffic driver at Playground.
  • Operational cadence: Staggered start times and generous late-reg aim to spread footfall across afternoons and evenings.

Market context

August’s stop delivered outsized participation, with third-party tracking citing C$9.6 million in total prizes and a C$4.45 million Main Event prize pool, a backdrop that sets elevated expectations for November.

While guarantees for individual events vary, the schedule strategy, more ring volume plus bounty density plus nightly satellites, signals confidence in late-year demand.
