Daniel Dvoress remains in contention in the 2026 Ivan Leow Player of the Year race during the Triton Poker Montenegro festival. Isaac Haxton currently leads the standings with 2058 points.

The 2026 Ivan Leow Player of the Year race is beginning to take shape as the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series gets underway in Montenegro.

Play is now underway at the Maestral Resort & Casino, where Ivan Leow Player of the Year points will be awarded throughout the entire festival. The 2026 edition also carries added significance as part of Triton Poker’s 10th Anniversary celebrations.

This year’s Player of the Year winner will receive a $200,000 bonus, with payouts extending down to 10th place in the final standings. With 16 days of action scheduled in Montenegro, the leaderboard could still see major movement before the series concludes.

At the top of the standings is Isaac Haxton of the United States with 2,058 points. China’s Zhou Quan sits in second place with 1,567 points.

Canadian poker professional Dan Dvoress currently holds third place with 1,440 points, firmly placing him in contention in the 2026 Ivan Leow Player of the Year race. 

Dvoress was last seen competing at Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju 2026, where he captured the $100,000 Short Deck event for more than $1.3 million.

Close behind Dvoress is Stephen Chidwick of the United Kingdom with 1,415 points, while Malaysia’s Ang Yang Siang rounds out the top five with 1,396 points.
