The World Series of Poker Super Circuit debuts in Canada at Playground from August 24 to September 9, 2026, led by a $5,000 Main Event with a $10,000,000 guarantee, marking a historic milestone for Canadian live tournament poker players worldwide.

For the first time in history, the World Series of Poker Super Circuit is heading to Canada. From August 24 to September 9, 2026, the WSOP Super Circuit will run at Playground Poker Club, marking a landmark moment for live tournament poker in the country.

The debut series will be headlined by a $5,000 Main Event carrying a $10,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, placing it among the largest guaranteed live poker tournaments ever hosted on Canadian soil.

A Historic Step for Canadian Live Poker

Playground has long been recognized as one of North America’s premier poker destinations, regularly hosting major international tours and record-breaking events.

The arrival of the WSOP Super Circuit elevates that status further, bringing official WSOP branding, Circuit rings, and large-field championship structures to Canada for the first time.

Full Schedule Coming Soon

At this stage, only the dates and Main Event guarantee have been confirmed. The complete tournament schedule is expected to be announced closer to the series, likely including a mix of No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, mixed games, and side events aligned with standard WSOP Circuit formats.
