The WPT World Championship 2025 will run from December 2–22 at Wynn Las Vegas, headlined by the $10,400 Main Event and WPT Prime Championship, with satellite tournaments, multiple starting flights, and televised final tables concluding Season 23 of the World Poker Tour.
The World Poker Tour (WPT) will wrap up Season 23 with the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas from December 2 to 22, 2025. The festival will include a schedule of major poker tournaments, side events, and televised final tables.
WPT World Championship Main Event
The $10,400 buy-in WPT World Championship Main Event will feature three starting flights, scheduled for December 13, 14, and 15. Players advancing from each flight will move to Day 2 on December 16, when the fields will merge.
From there, play will continue through December 19 to determine the final six competitors. The final table will be played on December 21 in a televised format, where the 2025 WPT World Champion will be decided.
WPT Prime Championship Format and Dates
The WPT Prime Championship will also be a key fixture in the festival schedule. The event will have four starting flights from December 7 to 10.
Players who advance will compete on Day 2 on December 11, with the field playing down to the final six on December 12. These six players will return for the televised final table on December 20.
Alongside the two marquee championships, the series will feature additional events, satellite tournaments, and various formats for different bankrolls. The full festival schedule, including complete event structures and special announcements, will be released in the lead-up to the festival.
2025 WPT World Championship
The 2025 WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas will serve as the closing series for Season 23, highlighted by the $10,400 Main Event and the WPT Prime Championship.
With multiple starting flights, satellite opportunities, and televised finals, the December festival will be a major event on the global poker calendar.
