Stake Poker Centurion Millions Series
Stake Poker announced the Centurion Series - 2nd Chance No-Limit Hold’em tournament for June 6. Featuring an 8-max format and $50,000 guarantee, the event offers 12-minute levels, a 20,000 starting stack, and up to 9 re-entries during late registration.

Stake Poker has officially announced the upcoming Centurion Series - 2nd Chance tournament, scheduled to take place on June 6.

The No-Limit Hold’em event features an 8-max table format and offers players a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000. Registration for the tournament is scheduled to open on June 6 at 10:30 PM.

The tournament features a standard buy-in of 100, and players can also gain entry via available ticket options. Each participant receives a starting stack of 20,000 chips.

The blind levels are structured to last 12 minutes each, establishing a relatively playable low-to-mid speed structure rather than a hyper-turbo format.

Late registration remains open for 2 hours after the tournament begins. During this period, players are permitted a maximum of 9 re-entries per person, with each re-entry priced at 100. There are no rebuys or add-ons available for this event.

Field Dynamics and Player Capacity

The tournament requires a minimum of 6 players to proceed and can accommodate a maximum field size of 10,000 entrants. While the standard gameplay follows an 8-max format, the final table will expand to seat 9 players.

The 8-max table size typically increases the frequency of aggressive plays compared to traditional 9-max fields. Additionally, the combination of a 2-hour late registration window and up to 9 allowed re-entries suggests the early stages of the field will likely be volatile and splashy.

The "2nd Chance" branding historically draws recreational re-entry traffic and wider hand ranges. If the turnout is weak while maintaining the $50,000 guarantee, there is a possibility of an overlay.

The Centurion Series 2nd Chance on Stake Poker combines an 8-max format with a deep re-entry structure. With a $50,000 guarantee, a 20,000 starting stack, and 12-minute levels, the event is set to provide a distinct competitive dynamic when registration opens on June 6.
