PLO Cash Game World Championship
There’s no hiding in this one. No silent all-ins or politely folded monsters. In the 2025 PLO Cash Game World Championship, every hand you win gets shown, and your volume gets counted.

Running since October 6 all the way up to November 2, this edition of CoinPoker's CGWC puts Omaha players in a public race with a live leaderboard and rake-free tables.

PLO CGWC Setup: Tables, Format, and Showdown Rules

The tournament plays out on designated CGWC 6-Max PLO tables, which run with a 100BB buy-in cap and automatic ante of 1BB total when full. Only two stake levels are available: $2.50/$5 and $10/$20. Hands played at these tables when short-handed, specifically heads-up, won’t count.

The standout rule: all winning hands must be shown, even if the hand ends preflop.

PLO CGWC Leaderboard Logic

The CGWC leaderboard reward results. Players must complete 20,000 hands during the four-week period to be eligible for leaderboard payouts.

Rank
Prize
1$15,000 Rolex
2$5,000 cash
3$4,000 cash
4$3,000 cash
5$2,000 cash

The leaderboard updates daily at 12:00 UTC, meaning competitors can track trends and adjust pace.

After the Leaderboard: Weekly Metrics and the VIP Game

Each Sunday includes a separate event: a $5,000 VIP 7-Max PLO Game. Seats aren’t awarded based on overall rank. Instead, five players each week qualify via distinct performance metrics:
  • Most hands played
  • Biggest loser in cash
  • Most under EV
  • Highest VPIP % (min. 2,000 hands)
  • Coolest hand, as voted by fans on social media

PLO Genius Plays Its Part

Volume players will also benefit from access to PLO Genius, a training and solver tool tailored to Omaha formats. During the CGWC:
  • 10,000+ hands unlocks a 1-month PRO pass
  • Top 3 finishers receive 1-Year PRO access
  • 4th and 5th receive 1-Year EDGE subscriptions

On top of that, YouTube stream viewers can grab 1-month promo codes during broadcast segments. Eligible players receive redemption instructions by email.

FAQs: PLO Cash Game World Championship

Do I need to win to qualify for prizes?

Not necessarily. Volume is a core factor — but you’ll need at least 20,000 qualifying hands to be considered for the leaderboard payouts.

How do I know if a table is eligible?

CGWC tables are labeled clearly in the client. Only hands from these tables count. Heads-up hands are excluded.

What’s the point of the “Show Rule”?

It forces transparency. Every winning hand must be revealed, which alters range dynamics and player adaptation. It’s designed to raise the skill ceiling.

How do I access the PLO Genius rewards?

Once you’ve qualified (by hand count or leaderboard position), you’ll get a code sent by email to redeem on the PLO Genius site.
