Playground Poker Club hosts three World Series of Poker Circuit stops in 2026, plus the first WSOP Super Circuit Canada. The schedule features a $10 million CAD guarantee Main Event and online qualifiers for players via GGPoker.

Playground in Kahnawake, Quebec, plans for a busy poker year. Following a record-setting 2025, the club confirms three World Series of Poker Circuit stops for 2026. This expansion includes the arrival of the first WSOP Super Circuit Canada. Players can expect large prize pools and gold rings throughout the year.
The 2026 schedule at Playground offers multiple opportunities for local and visiting players. The confirmed stops include:
  • Spring Stop: March 23 to April 7, 2026
  • Early Summer Stop: May 10 to May 25, 2026
  • WSOP Super Circuit Canada: August 24 to September 9, 2026
  • Fall Stop: November 2 to November 17, 2026
The transition to a calendar-year format provides a fixed schedule. Each series contains several ring-awarding events with various buy-ins.

WSOP Super Circuit Canada

The August stop introduces the WSOP Super Circuit to Canada. The Main Event features a $5,000 CAD buy-in. To attract a large field, the tournament offers a $10,000,000 CAD guarantee. This figure represents a peak for the circuit and cements the venue as a primary hub for poker.

Past Success and Online Qualifiers

The expansion stems from a successful 2025 season. Last year, the Main Event drew 1,978 entries and a $4,450,500 CAD prize pool. Jacob Hobday won $620,000 CAD after entering via a $75 CAD satellite.

Playground and GGPoker continue this partnership in 2026. Players in Canada can access satellites through GGPoker and GGPoker Ontario. These qualifiers allow entry into major events for a fraction of the cost.

Event Variety and Formats

The March series typically holds 18 ring events. The schedule usually includes:
  • Mini Main Event: Low buy-ins with several starting flights.
  • The Colossus: Large field sizes and high guarantees.
  • High Roller: Stakes for players with larger bankrolls.
  • Specialty Events: Dedicated tournaments for seniors and ladies.

Most tournaments allow re-entries. Formats often include Mystery Bounties and Pot Limit Omaha. Playground continues to grow as a destination for ring events and large-scale competition.
