KKPoker has confirmed KKLIVE Montreal 2025 for November, featuring a CAD$300 Main Event, CAD$2,000 freeroll, and online qualification pathways. The event at Plaza Universel guarantees all Day 2 players a payout, marking KKLIVE’s third return to Montreal.

KKPoker has officially announced the return of its flagship live series, KKLIVE, to Montreal, Quebec, in November 2025. Following strong turnouts at earlier Canadian stops in Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick, this will mark the third occasion that KKLIVE hosts a major event in Montreal.

The upcoming series will continue KKPoker’s hybrid approach, combining both online and live components. 

This structure allows players across Canada and beyond to qualify through online Day 1 flights, with successful entrants advancing directly to the live Day 2 stage. Every player reaching Day 2 will be guaranteed a payout, ensuring a strong incentive for participation.

Key Highlights of KKLIVE Montreal 2025

  • Main Event Buy-in: CAD$300 (USD$220 equivalent conversion rate).
  • Online Day 1 Flights: Running from 15 September through 17 November, plus an additional online entry option on 21 November.
  • Live Day 2: Scheduled for 22 November at Plaza Universel, 5000 Sherbrooke St E, Montreal, Quebec.
  • Guaranteed ITM: All Day 2 qualifiers will be in the money.

In addition to tournament play, eligible participants will once again benefit from travel incentives. These include up to CAD$600 in travel allowance alongside a complimentary one-night hotel stay for qualifying players, reinforcing Montreal’s accessibility as a host city.

Online Qualifying Pathways

Players will be able to secure Main Event seats through a range of online routes:
  • Freerolls: Beginning 1 September, open to players in Canada.
  • Flip & Satellite Tournaments: Running daily, with buy-ins as low as USD$1.50.
  • Sunday Flip Satellite: Weekly option with a USD$30 buy-in.
  • Online Day 1 Flights: Open to all players internationally, with CAD$300 buy-in.

These options provide both recreational and competitive players with cost-effective entry routes into the Main Event.

Live Event Schedule in Montreal

The live element of KKLIVE Montreal 2025 will be staged at Plaza Universel, a well-known venue located in East Montreal.

  • Freeroll Tournament: CAD$2,000 prize pool, top nine finishers in the money, operating on a first-come, first-served basis for eligible players.
  • Main Event Day 2: All qualifiers will compete for significant prizes, with ITM status guaranteed.
  • Side Events: Each side event will contribute CAD$50 per buy-in to a local charity. Events will also feature CAD$200 bounty knockouts, with 10% of unique entries paid out.

All winnings from the series will be credited directly to players’ KKPoker accounts, aligning with the platform’s integrated payment structure.

The decision to host the Montreal series for a third time underlines the city’s importance on the Canadian poker calendar. 

Previous events in Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick demonstrated the strong demand for live poker outside traditional hubs, while Montreal remains a central draw due to its established player community and accessible location.
