PokerPlanets Overview
PokerPlanets, launched in May 2025 as a successor to PokerStars Sochi, caters to CIS-region players. The platform offers cash games, tournaments, bonuses, a fast-fold Teleport format, and crypto-friendly transactions.

PokerStars Sochi has officially closed its operations, and PokerPlanets has emerged as its successor. The migration of PokerStars Sochi’s registered player base to PokerPlanets has established the platform as a significant online poker room in the CIS region.

PokerPlanets overview

Launched in May 2025, PokerPlanets operates in Beta mode and primarily targets players in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and other CIS countries. 

The platform is operated by Entertainment Planets B.V. and functions under a Curaçao license. By inheriting the verified player database from PokerStars Sochi, PokerPlanets enters the market with pre-established trust and player loyalty.

The site emphasizes cash game traffic, with 6-max Texas No-Limit Hold'em as its main offering. Tournament traffic and Spin & Win formats are still in development. 

A fast-fold poker format, Teleport, is available for players seeking high-paced action.
PokerPlanets runs on EvenBet software with added features. The platform supports Windows, Android, and iOS devices. 

Language support is available in Russian and English, tailored to CIS-region users. The site aims to maintain fair rake structures, includes built-in HUD features, and supports crypto-based transactions.

Daily tournaments feature freezeout and re-entry structures. The weekly flagship event is the Jupiter Cup with a $109 buy-in. Buy-ins range from $5.50 to $1,000 for high-roller events. Knockout and Mystery Bounty tournaments are also available, with buy-ins between $7.50 and $11.

Spin & Win

Spin & Win tournaments are three-handed turbo Sit-n-Gos with random prize pools. Buy-ins range from $0.50 to $10, and the tournament fee is approximately 7-9%.

Teleport

Teleport is PokerPlanets’ fast-fold format, supporting Texas NL and PLO. Stakes range from $0.02/$0.05 to $2.50/$5.

The rake aligns with standard industry structures: approximately 10% for tournaments and 7-8% for Spin & Win games.
