GGPoker and Poker After Dark have partnered to introduce a new poker series titled Game of Gold. The project places high-stakes poker inside a reality TV structure. The first episode of the twelve-part season premiered on November 17, 2025 on Sportsnet 360.
Ali Nejad hosts the series. Game of Gold brings together 16 players from across the poker landscape.
Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker Global Ambassador, spoke about the way the format connects classic poker with a structure aligned with modern viewing trends.

The series presents each moment as players face a shifting environment. They respond with calculation, concern, and strategic planning.
The environment pushes the players into new territory where poker norms meet teamwork and reality-
based pressure.
This structure sets up a psychological battle as the cast adjusts to the pace of the show. One central feature is the focus on each player’s process.
The competitors deal with the balance between individual play and group goals. The behind-the-scenes view positions Game of Gold as a link between poker and reality TV.
New episodes air every Monday at 19:00 ET. The season premiere aired on November 17, 2025. Each episode reruns from Tuesday to Friday, giving viewers multiple opportunities to follow the action as the series develops.
