Doug Polk claimed his biggest-ever cash game win by pocketing $1.2 million in a heads-up battle against Ossi Ketola on ClubWPT Gold.

Doug Polk, one of poker’s most recognized personalities, added another epic chapter to his high-stakes legacy on Monday night by crushing Ossi Ketola for a massive $1.2 million in a streamed heads-up duel.

The cash game win capped off an action-packed weekend for the poker pro, who had just come off a whirlwind appearance on High Stakes Poker at PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.

A High-Stakes Marathon

The weekend began with Polk taking on an heavy-duty line-up that included Jennifer Tilly, Alan Keating, and Santhosh Suvarna.

The High Stakes Poker broadcast delivered pure entertainment as these poker heavyweights traded massive pots, big bluffs, and playful banter.

Polk then pivoted from that glitzy table to an online battleground, facing Ketola on the ClubWPT Gold platform in a high-voltage heads-up clash.

The Showdown: Polk vs. Ketola

The Finnish casino owner Ossi Ketola, proved to be the perfect villain for this confrontation. Both players began the match with $400,000 stacks, streaming their gameplay for fans.

The early exchanges were a tug of war, with Polk taking down the first two sessions. The third match, however, went in Ketola’s way while the stream temporarily went offline.

When the feed returned, the stakes were raised dramatically; each player now battling for a $1.6 million pot.

The Hand That Made History

The dramatic hand unfolded on a board that sent chatrooms into meltdown. Ketola opened with a $32,000 bet on the flop, which Polk coolly called.

The turn brought more action as Ketola fired $106,000, and Polk, holding a flush draw, stayed in. When the river completed Polk’s hand, Ketola pushed all-in, only to be snap-called in seconds.

The pot went Polk’s way, locking in the biggest single-session win of his career.
After the dust settled, Polk took to social media to describe it as “the biggest cash game win of my entire life.”

What’s Next for Doug Polk

With this monumental $1.2 million win added to his resume, Polk continues to dominate the felts. Between his YouTube content, live appearances, and these larger-than-life duels, he’s redefining how modern poker connects with global audiences.
