Canadian players have made a significant impact at WSOP 2025, with top finishes by Frederic Normand, Daniel Negreanu, and Kristen Foxen. Here's a detailed look at the highest payouts earned so far.

As the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2025 progresses, Canadian poker players have made a strong showing across multiple events, underlining the country’s prominence in the global poker circuit. 

From seasoned professionals to emerging contenders, Canadian grinders have consistently recorded notable finishes and top payouts throughout the series. Let us take a look at Canadian cashes in WSOP 2025.

Top Canadian cashes from WSOP 2025

Among the standout results so far is Frederic Normand’s impressive $387,979 score in Event #3: $5,000 8-Handed No-Limit Hold’em. With 693 entries in the field, Normand’s deep run marked one of the highest payouts for a Canadian in this year’s series. 

Another major result came from Zachary Zaret, who finished strong in Event #21: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, collecting $248,245 from a 1,176-player field.

Daniel Negreanu, one of the most successful Canadian poker players and a fixture on the all-time money list at Hendon Mob, has already cashed in five events. His most notable finish came in Event #9: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, where he earned $313,615 for his runner-up finish.

Other results from DNegs include $61,231 in Event #30: No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw and $31,316 in Event #41: Limit Hold’em Championship. 

These results continue to fuel discussions around his place in WSOP history, especially with speculation around Dnegs’ bracelet wins in the future.

Other names on the ITM list for WSOP 2025 include Jason Duong ($130,061 in Event #33: $1,500 Limit Hold’em), Thomas Taylor ($131,916 in the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E.), and Matthew Morin ($172,724 in the $800 Deepstack). 

Kristen Foxen also appears multiple times with top payouts including $87,971 in the $25,000 High Roller 6-Handed.

Additionally, players like Pablo Mariz, Patrick Stacey, Alex Livingston, and Greg Mueller have contributed to Canada’s presence on the WSOP 2025 results list. 

Alan ‘Ari’ Engel from Canada has multiple cashes in the series so far. The player has 17 WSOP Circuit rings to his credit and is surely looking to add to his bracelet tally.

Kyle Ho is another Canadian player who scored a payout. Kyle Ho's poker results now has a 189th place finish in Event #16: $600 Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack for a sum of $1,560.
