The tournament ran alongside the $15M GTD Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms series that drew in huge numbers, and as always, some of that traffic also spilled on the Venom Specials. Total 617 entries topped the original prize pool with over $20,000 rewarding Ana Marquez a nice $25,498 top prize.

At the Venom Special final table, Marquez and her rival “BickinaDox” completely dominated, vacuuming up all the chips in just 38 minutes. The final heads-up duel lasted 17 minutes until Marquez turned a set with pocket threes after BickinaDox had flopped two pair, kings and eights. Marquez blasted all her chips into the middle, and the spot was simply too tempting for her rival to fold.
