Stake Poker has rolled out a $1 million Bad Beat Jackpot for its cash game tables. Eligible Hold’em and Omaha hands must satisfy set requirements, with prize payouts determined by the stake level at which the hand occurs.

Stake Poker is offering a Bad Beat Jackpot worth $1,000,000 for ring game players. The jackpot applies to qualifying hands that result in a loss at showdown, under specific hand and participation rules for both Hold’em and Omaha formats.

To trigger the jackpot, a player must lose with AAAJJ or better in Hold’em or 2222x or better in Omaha. Both the winning and losing hands must use two hole cards, and at least four players must be dealt in.

Bad Beat Jackpot Requirements and Game Conditions

Only hands that reach the showdown will qualify. Players who fold or muck without revealing their cards will not be considered in the jackpot calculation.

Bad Beat Jackpot Distribution and Pool Structure

Stake Poker maintains separate jackpot funds for each ring game stake. When a jackpot is triggered, payouts are made according to the following fixed percentages:

Pot Loser (Bad Beat Winner): 8%
Pot Winner (Bad Beat Opponent): 5%
Remaining Players: 3% shared equally

The jackpot pool is funded by allocating 2.5% of the rake from each qualifying ring game hand. Both Hold’em and Omaha tables contribute to the same fund.

Eligibility Criteria

Only ring game tables with the designated Bad Beat Jackpot icon in the lobby are eligible. Non-ring game formats such as Sit & Gos or tournaments are excluded.
