Live tournament schedules often look fixed and distant until satellites bring them closer. WPS Bogotá is one of those stops that shifts from abstract to attainable once online qualifiers enter the picture. That process is already underway on WPT Global, with a multi-week satellite lineup feeding directly into January’s headline event in Colombia.

The Satellite Structure

WPT Global’s satellite system is built around $80 winner-takes-all tournaments that award a single $800 WPS Bogotá Main Event seat to the top finisher. Across the full schedule, 44 seats are guaranteed through these qualifiers.

For players starting at a lower level, $8 Step Satellites provide entry into the $80 events. This layered structure allows players to move up incrementally, rather than committing the full satellite buy-in immediately.

When the Satellites Run

The earliest qualifiers run from January 9 through January 11, with three daily start times each evening. The middle portion of the schedule, from January 14 to January 18, narrows to two daily satellites. The final set, running January 19 to January 23, expands again with three start times, including a mid-afternoon option.
