Michael Mizrachi Wins 2025 WSOP Main Event, Clinches Historic Summer with Hall of Fame Induction

Las Vegas, July 15, 2025 — In what is already being hailed as one of the greatest individual runs in World Series of Poker (WSOP) history, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi has cemented his legacy with a dramatic victory in the 2025 WSOP Main Event. The five-time bracelet winner added poker’s most coveted title to his résumé late Monday night at the Horseshoe Las Vegas, outlasting a field of 10,124 players to win $12.1 million and the Main Event gold bracelet.

Mizrachi’s path to poker immortality didn’t stop there. Just two weeks earlier, he captured his record fifth Poker Players Championship title—arguably the most prestigious mixed-game tournament in the world—further showcasing his unmatched versatility and grit.

As if those achievements weren’t enough, Mizrachi was also selected as a 2025 inductee into the Poker Hall of Fame, completing a summer for the ages. At 44 years old, Mizrachi becomes the first player in history to win the Main Event, the Poker Players Championship, and enter the Hall of Fame in the same year.

A Grinder’s Dream Come True

Known for his fearless playing style and deep tournament runs, Mizrachi entered the Main Event final table with the chip lead and never looked back. Facing a tough mix of rising international stars and seasoned pros, Mizrachi controlled the tempo throughout the final session.

In the final hand, his pocket kings held up against a gutsy bluff from French pro Adrien Delmas, sending the crowd into a frenzy and etching Mizrachi’s name into poker’s most elite company.

“This is the dream,” Mizrachi said in his winner’s interview. “I’ve chased the Main Event my whole career, and to finally win it—alongside the Players Championship and the Hall of Fame—it’s just unbelievable. This summer, everything came together.”

A Hall of Fame Resume, Now Complete

Mizrachi's induction into the Poker Hall of Fame felt inevitable long before this summer's events. With now six WSOP bracelets—including five in $50,000 Poker Players Championship events—and over $30 million in live earnings, his resume speaks volumes.

His Hall of Fame selection was announced during a special ceremony on Day 1 of the Main Event, attended by fellow legends like Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey. Mizrachi was voted in unanimously by the living members of the Hall, a rare honor reserved for poker's most respected figures.

The Grinder’s Legacy

Few players have impacted modern tournament poker like Mizrachi. Whether dominating the mixed-game elite, making deep runs on poker’s biggest stages, or inspiring the next generation of players with his fearless approach, “The Grinder” has lived up to his nickname for two decades.

With his 2025 triumphs, Mizrachi not only secures his legacy among the game’s greats—he may have delivered the greatest single summer in WSOP history.
