GGPoker has taken decisive action during the GGMillion$ tournament after detecting an account sharing breach that compromised competitive integrity. Two players were permanently banned, the chip leader was blinded out at the final table, and $115,752.22 will be redistributed to affected participants.

GGPoker removed two players from the GGMillion$ tournament after uncovering a confirmed breach involving account sharing. The violation was identified before the final table on November 11, 2025, allowing the platform to intervene while the event was still unfolding.

The decision to block both individuals reinforced the operator’s policy on maintaining competitive fairness during high stakes tournaments.

Details From Day 1 of the GGMillion$ Tournament

Investigators detected irregular play on November 9, 2025, during Day 1 of the GGMillion$ event.
The account registered as “Hinaru” was found to be operated by someone other than the account owner.

The investigation verified continuous use by an unauthorized player, which falls under ghosting. This behaviour directly violates the operator’s Security and Ecology Policy that requires players to compete only on their own accounts.

Immediate Actions Taken by the Security Team

Once the breach was confirmed, both parties were removed from the platform.
 Key actions included:
  • The Hinaru account was blocked before the final table began.
  • The individual who controlled the account was also blocked.
  •  Both users received permanent bans across the platform and all affiliate partners.

Impact on the GGMillion$ Final Table

The Hinaru account reached the final table as chip leader. The account was blindsided as soon as the broadcast began on November 11, 2025, since it was no longer operational. No moves were made during the final table session due to the account block. This action ensured that an ineligible participant did not influence the tournament’s outcome or gain access to prize money.

Restitution For Affected Players

Following the platform’s reconciliation policy, $115,752.22 will be redistributed to impacted participants. The recalculation process ensures that legitimate competitors receive the appropriate payout based on their play and the corrected tournament structure.

Commitment to Security and Poker Integrity

The operator relies on advanced systems that monitor in game behaviour, identify unusual activity, and flag potential breaches. The internal team reviews gameplay patterns, account activity, and related indicators to protect the ecosystem. When violations occur, action is taken without delay to prevent further influence on tournament outcomes.

Clear Message to the Poker Community

Account sharing and ghosting have lasting consequences. Violators face permanent removal to preserve a level playing field.

The platform continues to invest in detection technology and maintains strict enforcement standards before, during, and after events to protect competition.
