National representation isn't reserved solely for the World Cup this year. It's also coming to the online poker felt this June. The 888poker Global League is set to launch on June 15, 2026, introducing a structure where individual tournament performances contribute to a country-wide leaderboard. 


The five-week campaign focuses entirely on qualification and pride, ending in a championship event where the top players from each country unite to determine the winning nation. 


We are diving straight into the mechanics of this summer competition, covering the weekly schedule and the path to earning your roster spot.

Earning Points for Your Country

The main objective for any participant in the league is to finish in the top 11 of their respective country's leaderboard by the end of the four-week qualification window.

Points are distributed based on performance in the designated weekly Sunday tournaments. The deeper a player runs in the field, the more points they contribute to their national profile. This ranking system keeps the standings transparent, allowing grinders to track exactly how many points they need to leapfrog their compatriots and secure an official squad position.

Breakdown of the Weekly Phases

To make the finals, players must progress through a multi-tiered tournament framework each week. The journey starts with retrieving passwords from 888poker's official social channels like Discord, Facebook, X, and Instagram. These passwords grant entry into the Weekly Qualifier Freerolls, which require no financial investment.

Winning a freeroll secures a seat in the Sunday Main Tournaments, though players who miss out on the qualifiers can still register directly via the standard tournament lobby. 

Performing well in these Sunday events awards points that feed into the national leaderboards. Once the four-week cycle concludes, the top 11 point-earners from each country have their spots officially locked for the Global League Final.

Key Dates to Remember

The promotional calendar is compact, requiring consistent volume over its month-long run:

  • Promotion Windows: June 15 to July 18, 2026.

  • Weekly Freeroll Runs: June 18–20, June 25–27, July 2–4, and July 9–11.

  • Sunday Main Events: June 21, June 28, July 5, and July 12.

  • The Grand Finale: July 18, 2026.

Available Payouts and Rewards

888poker structured the prizes to incentivize both elite individual performance and national scale. High-ranking solo grinders will receive direct tournament tickets and tier-based ticket packages. Once the final tournament on July 18 concludes, the overall country standings will be calculated. 

Players from the top three nations will receive entry into exclusive freeroll events hosted on the platform, rewarding the broader community for the success of their final 11 representatives.
