GGPoker Opens $0.50 Path to $50M WSOP Paradise Main Event
- Canadians can qualify for the $26,000 WSOP Paradise event via GGPoker from $0.50.
- Over 1,000 $30,000 Super Pass packages, with hotel and perks, are available.

Canadian poker players can take aim at one of the biggest tournaments of the year for less than the price of a coffee, with GGPoker's WSOP Express offering a route from $0.50 to a $30,000 WSOP Paradise Super Pass.
The target is the $26,000 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event, which begins at Baha Mar in The Bahamas on December 10 and carries a $50 million guaranteed prize pool. WSOP Paradise runs from December 2 to 17, with 20 bracelet events and $120 million guaranteed across the series.
For eligible Canadian players who do not want to buy into the Super Main Event directly, the GGPoker WSOP Express system provides a much cheaper starting point. GGPoker is WSOP's exclusive international partner, and WSOP has confirmed that more than 1,000 $30,000 Super Passes are being made available through the online qualification campaign.
GGPoker WSOP Express Starts at Just $0.50
WSOP Express uses a four-step qualification ladder, but players do not have to begin at Step 1. Direct entry is available at each stage.

Step 1 is a four-player All-In or Fold Sit & Go in which every player receives three stacks. Winning advances the player to Step 2. Step 2 switches to GGPoker's six-player Spin & Gold format, while Step 3 uses the Target Stack Turbo structure.
The qualification ladder eventually opens access to three types of WSOP packages: Ring Passes, Bracelet Passes and the top-tier Super Pass.

What Does the $30,000 Super Pass Include?
The biggest target is the $30,000 Super Pass.
GGPoker currently lists the pass as redeemable for a WSOP Paradise package containing the full $26,000 Super Main Event entry, hotel accommodation and additional exclusive benefits.

GGPoker's current public WSOP Express page does not itemize every Paradise-specific perk beyond accommodation and exclusive benefits. Players should therefore check the applicable package terms before making travel plans.
Airfare is also not listed among the confirmed Super Pass benefits, meaning Canadians should not assume flights from Canada to The Bahamas are covered.
More Than 1,000 Super Passes Available
The scale of the online qualification campaign is significant.
WSOP says more than 1,000 $30,000 Super Passes are up for grabs through GGPoker. That represents more than $30 million in package value if at least 1,001 passes are ultimately awarded.
Those qualifiers could also play an important role in building the field for the $50 million guaranteed Super Main Event.
The tournament is one of the centrepieces of the wider World Series of Poker calendar and will conclude a year in which Canadian players have already enjoyed major WSOP success in Las Vegas.
There is one potentially confusing detail in the official information. WSOP's promotional overview sometimes shortens the event to a "$25K Super Main Event", while its detailed 2026 schedule announcement and GGPoker's current Super Pass page specify a $26,000 entry. CanadianPoker.com is therefore using the more precise $26,000 figure.
Canadians Can Start Without a $0.50 Buy-in
The entry point can technically be free.
GGPoker's current promotion offers a free Step 0 ticket daily. Cash-game players can also earn Express tickets through qualifying play. Completing 100 qualifying hands earns a $0.50 Step 1 ticket, while 300 hands earns a $2 Step 2 ticket. Eligible games include Hold'em, Short Deck, All-In or Fold, Rush & Cash and several PLO formats.
That gives Canadian players another connection between online poker and live poker, with a micro-stakes online qualification ladder potentially ending at Baha Mar.
Of course, a $0.50 starting point should not be confused with a $0.50 seat. Players still have to successfully progress through increasingly difficult qualification stages to reach Paradise.
But the prize at the end is substantial: a $30,000 package and a seat in a Super Main Event carrying one of the largest guarantees on the 2026 live poker calendar.
