WPT Global Welcome Package Bonus Structure
The welcome package runs on 100% cashback, not a locked bonus. It gives you $1 back for every $10 in rake at the cash tables, or $1 per $500 wagered in the casino, clearing over 60 days as you play.
Why this structure works in your favour:
- 100% Cashback Match: Get your full deposit back in cash up to $3,000
- Instant Starter Pack ($10+): $5 poker bonus, $5 casino bonus, $2.50 MTT ticket, $3 Casino Coin ($15.50 total)
- Scales with how much you put in: the bigger the deposit, the better the ticket bundle and Casino Coin reward you unlock
- Clearance: 50% at poker tables ($1 per $10 rake), 50% at casino ($1 per $500 wagered)
- No expiry pressure: 60 days is a reasonable window, so this is not a "use it in 7 days or lose it" situation

| CanadianPoker Freebuy | $250 GTD | Weekly private tournament for the CanadianPoker community with free initial entry. |
At the time of this update, WPT Global has not announced a separate major September online tournament festival for the global player pool. The main tournament focus is therefore on its regular schedule and online-to-live satellite campaigns.
WPT Global Super Giveaway
The WPT Global Super Giveaway is one of the most useful ongoing promotions for regular tournament players.
Players who make a deposit during the qualifying daily period can be randomly awarded free tournament tickets. The tickets are linked to tournaments that recorded an overlay on the previous day.
That means the exact tournaments available can change from day to day.
WPT Global specifically highlights tournaments including the $530 Grand Slam PKO, $530 Thursday Crown Throne and $110 Sunday Slam Mystery Bounty as examples of events that may generate free tickets when they overlay.
| Example Tournament | Buy-in | Guarantee |
|---|---|---|
| Grand Slam PKO | $530 | $50,000 GTD |
| Thursday Crown Throne | $530 | $20,000 GTD |
| Sunday Slam Mystery Bounty | $110 | $100,000 GTD |
Players should check their WPT Global account and notifications regularly, as awarded tickets are credited directly to eligible accounts.
30% PLO Rakeback
Pot-Limit Omaha players continue to receive one of WPT Global's simplest ongoing cash-game rewards.
WPT Global offers 30% rakeback across eligible PLO4 and PLO5 cash games, with the promotion applying across all stakes.
There is no separate leaderboard or volume target required. Rakeback is calculated from contributed rake and paid automatically each Monday.
| PLO Rakeback | Details |
|---|---|
| Rakeback | 30% |
| Eligible Games | PLO4 and PLO5 |
| Stakes | All eligible stakes |
| Payment | Every Monday |
| Opt-in Required | No |
For Canadian Omaha players who generate regular cash-game volume, this remains one of the most relevant recurring WPT Global promotions.
40% Table Starter Rewards
WPT Global also continues to offer 40% rakeback through its Table Starter Rewards promotion.
The promotion rewards players who help create action by becoming the first player to sit at qualifying high-stakes tables.
Eligible formats include No-Limit Hold'em and Short Deck. PLO4, PLO5 and fast-fold games are not part of the Table Starter promotion.
For USD-denominated NLHE tables, eligible stakes begin at $25/$50 and above, subject to the current promotion terms.
This makes Table Starter Rewards primarily relevant to high-stakes cash players rather than the average recreational player.
WPT Seoul Satellites From $1.10
One of the newest WPT Global satellite campaigns is the route to WPT Seoul 2026, which makes its debut at INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in Incheon, South Korea.
Canadian players can begin the qualification path for just $1.10.
| Qualification Stage | Buy-in | Schedule / Prize |

WPT Prime Cyprus takes place at Chamada Prestige in Cyprus from October 15 to 19.

The 8-max NLHE tournament runs every Sunday at 12:05 UTC, with a ¥5,300 buy-in, ¥800,000 guaranteed prize pool and at least ¥200,000 guaranteed for first place.

WPT Global Promotions for Canadian Players
September is less about one giant WPT Global online series and more about several promotions running simultaneously.
Cash-game players have 30% PLO rakeback and the high-stakes Table Starter offer, while tournament players can potentially earn free entries through the Super Giveaway.
The strongest seasonal opportunities are the live-event satellites. WPT Seoul packages are available through qualifiers starting at $1.10, while WPT Prime Cyprus provides another $1.10 entry route into a $1 million guaranteed live Main Event.
Combined with the weekly CanadianPoker $250 GTD Freebuy and WPT Global's existing welcome package, there is plenty of additional value available to eligible Canadian players throughout September.
