Kristen Foxen Recent News: The Bluff Call That Stole the Show

Kristen was a part of an amazing hand in a recent event, one that drew a lot of attention online. Last week, Foxen was a part of a three-way pot, and as far as hand strength went after the river, she was second best.

But she was last to act after the river and the player with the worst hand bluffed, which led to the player with the best hand folding. It was then Foxen's turn, and she captivated audiences on the High Stakes Cash Game Live Poker Show, making one of those “soul read” poker calls with second pair and a seven kicker.

With a lower pair on the board, there wasn't a whole lot she could beat. Her opponent could have had top pair, trips, the same pair as her with a better kicker, or a whole lot of other hands that could beat her.

However, Foxen made the right decision and took down the pot. The video is embedded in the tweet below.

2025 WSOP Schedule and Past Glory

As of April 27th, 2025, I couldn't find Kristen Foxen’s specific schedule for the 2025 WSOP, running from May 27th to July 16th at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. The WSOP has announced its dates, with fan-favorite events like Mystery Millions and the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event, but player-specific schedules are typically confirmed closer to the series.

Given Foxen’s history, she’s expected to compete in high-stakes events, including the Main Event and possibly the $25,000 High Roller, where she cashed for $50,637 in 2024. Her 2024 WSOP Main Event performance remains a defining moment. Despite a valiant run against an enormous field, Foxen exited in 13th place ($600,000) after her aggressive play with second pair ran into Joe Serock’s flopped two pair. Her deep run fell just short of the final table. Foxen expressed gratitude on X: “THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone who was cheering me on… It was a very disappointing finish; I really wanted that bracelet.”
